Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in armor, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide attributes or other bonuses while using the equipment. The equipment that is upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above a certain level. Certain upgrade items also come with special visual effects when applied to an equipment piece. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, used to repair equipment, or acquired as rewards in games.
Various upgrade components are available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments are able to be used on back equipment that is ascended. Inserting item upgrading can destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their names in the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures and fractions, as well as ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters along with regular glyphs like em dashes and en dashes, registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a window with the Glyphs available to you. You can only apply the appropriate Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has its own collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes that are within its range on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further using an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing a new account in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. This can be done in order increase your level faster, or to gain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of its power. This can be because they like the design or personality.
You must ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. This means that you must verify locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck you have. To save time be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. Also, avoid repeating quests which can be completed later on in the game. This will save you time and energy.
Another important consideration when rerolling is to make sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance as well as power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling may not be an absolute requirement, but it is an option to increase the chances of acquiring an item or character. You can use it to determine which character is the best or to test different builds and playstyles.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of the class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as intersection, union and distinction.
When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an entirely new version that is superior to the previous one. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and lower requirement for strength.
Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.
It's important to remember that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their own right and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance even more. For such items, it could be worth the cost to upgrade them.
